***DENIED***

So I lost my debit card awhile back and had to order a new one, this has caused some problems:

A. Embarrassing but only internally: Had to use credit card for all purchases for almost a month, you know that I will be so tempted to pay that minimum payment when in reality I charged up $683.21 in purchases.

B. Semi-embarrassing: Auto debit for L.A. Tan and Netflix **denied** Had to call and set things straight with these people.

C. MOST EMBARRASSING: Went out last night, did not want to bring the old purse, gave new debit card to DK to put n his wallet, forgot to get it back, went to Odd Lots today, found $4.50 worth of crap that I actually needed and $29.45 of crap that was just "fluff", walk up to the counter, remember DK has the debit card, try the credit card that I know is more that likely over the limit, give it to the cashier anyway, and, that's right you guessed it, what I saw on the little screen display **DENIED**

So that is my story these days, I walk into frickin' ODD LOTS on the frickin' WESTSIDE and get DENIED!!

what's the temperature?

You know how on the weather channel they post the temperature and sometimes under that they put the "feels like" temperature? Like, it is 96 degrees today but it "feels like" 106 degrees with the humidity? Or, it is 13 degrees but with the wind chill it "feels like" -23 degrees?

Well that is sort of how I feel about today. Today is the day that I met DK two years ago. I am fully aware that is exactly 730 days ago but sometimes it "feels like" way more, say like 1,825 days, and sometimes "feels like" way less, like maybe 150 days.

Either way there is something to be said for DK, anyone that can put up with me for 730 days is a saint.

facing the rapids

My trip down the New River was awesome. The rush that you have after conquering a class 5 rapid is like no other.

Maybe next time I will stay sober enough to remember the other parts of the trip.
